About Green Mountain Rose

Green Mountain Rose is more than just a name—it's our family story in four words. Born in Oregon (the City of Roses), raised in Vermont (the Green Mountain State), and blooming right here on our half-acre homestead where chaos meets craftsmanship daily.

We're a blended family of six: Peter, myself (Ronilynn), three teen daughters who keep us humble, and our son—the only official Vermonter among us (yes, native status is serious business here). Over a decade ago, we traded West Coast life for East Coast winters. Peter came home to his roots; the rest of us discovered what "real cold" actually means. Our son arrived shortly after, earning his Vermont credentials the old-fashioned way: by being born here.

Our half-acre property was once a gorgeous ornamental garden. We're lovingly restoring it into a working homestead that feeds our family, fuels our creativity, and occasionally humbles us when nature reminds us who's really in charge.

Here's what drives us: family, sustainability, and quality craftsmanship. As an unconventional (but fiercely loyal) blended family, we know firsthand that building a home, business, and lifestyle around your values takes work—the roll-up-your-sleeves, dirt-under-your-nails kind. Through eco-conscious choices and hands-on involvement, we create handmade products that honor our land, our animals, and the people who support us.
